Went for lunch with my partner and wee boy, staff were very nice and they had a wee play bit for my son so he was super happy. We will go again
Booked my folks in as a wee thank you for helping with my move to Tarves. Big thanks to Colin, Alison, Val and the girls. Folks had a lovely stay, we joined them for an evening meal and drinks, followed by breakfast today Sunday the 3rd December. Great food, lovely rooms and pleasant well mannered staff. Highly recommend Locals make you feel welcome too. Many thanks John
It's an old building so rooms are a bit small but very clean and warm. The breakfast was full Scottish and full on too. Very tasty on all counts and hot and grease free. I really enjoyed it and really do recommend the cooked breakfast. Staff very pleasant too.
We had an excellent meal here. The service was friendly. Really glad we booked as there were several people turned away as they were busy. I had one of the specials on offer, pork belly which was beautiful, although I would have liked more than one strip of crackling but that is greed not need! Husband had the hunters chicken loaded fries and he was equally happy with his. Definitely be back and would book just to be sure.
Went to Aberdeen Arms last Sunday for dinner with our family. The meal was nice and the service was very good. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
My daughter Samantha has recently moved to Tarves and I have been looking after the house while they catch up with friends ETC I went to the Aberdeen Arms and was welcomed like I belonged. I went back a second time with out knowing the owner and when I walked in he said a pint of ** I said yes thanks for remembering me from earlier. I then went back to my daughter’s house and the following day I returned to the hotel and bar and as soon as I walked in again Collin the owner said pint. I said yes. He is a cheery chap and is very courteous towards all the enter whether local or not. Such a wonderful thing these days. Friendly service, great food. We were staying locally for a week and had two meals here and popped in for a drink or two as well. Staff make you feel very welcome. Meals are excellent quality and good value. Beer is good with local guest ale. Staff are great. Easy parking right outside.
First time here, and will go back again, food was great. Had mince and tatties,stuffing, staff were friendly and helpful,
